St Ives, TR26 1PR

A sheltered sandy bay with rock pools, where you’ll always meet other friendly pet parents. (Watch out for the steep steps down.)

Porthkidney Beach

A glorious stretch of golden sand that’s perfect for a scamper. Nor suitable for swimming and please check the tides before coming here.

Gwithian Beach

This beautiful sandy beach welcomes dogs all year. Nearby cafes, and a lifeguard service in the summer.

Longrock Beach

If you and your pooch love a swim together, the stretch of beach between Penzance and Marazion is the perfect place.

Prussia Cove

St Hilary, TR20 9BA

Park in the small private car park and take the footpath down to this stunning series of coves. Again, it’s a good spot for a swim.

Crantock Beach

Near Newquay, TR8 5RN

Another beautiful sandy beach, which rarely feels too busy. Worth the drive from Polmanter (about 30 miles).
