Tiger Lilly is a local, family-owned business that was established almost 20 years ago. They are proudly part of the WiSE Scheme – meaning they are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of marine life in the area.
With prices for hour long trips starting at just £15 per person, Tiger Lilly is a firm favourite for boat rides with both locals and tourists alike. You can take a trip to see the seals at Seal Island or admire Godrevey Lighthouse, as well as partaking in mackerel fishing or a beautiful 2-hour twilight adventure. Excursions begin daily at 9.30am until sunset (weather depending!).
In case you needed anything else to convince you, Polmanter guests are entitled to a 10% discount on trips to Seal Island and Godrevey Lighthouse using the code POLMANTER10 ! You can book online or give them a call/WhatsApp message on 07888 213131.

The Black Pearl is a business run by locals who have spent the majority of their lives working with the boats in St Ives harbour, so you really can’t do much better for knowledge of the area and wildlife you may encounter! Again, offering mackerel fishing alongside boat trips to Godrevey Lighthouse and Seal Island, you can also book a private charter for up to 12 people to make the excursion even more special.
Additionally, for an extra-special occasion, they offer bespoke engagement or birthday packages which include champagne, a bouquet of flowers and highly experienced skipper, Matthew, to drive you to a spot of your choice.
There are no age limits on board and you can even bring your dogs exploring!
Here our guests are also treated to a 10% discount with the code POLMANTER10.
You can book online or give them a call on 07869793453.

For something a bit different, you can book onto Nemo’s glass-bottom boat trips. They only came to St Ives in 2021 so are an exciting new and novel experience for all! You can book onto their underwater sea safari to really explore Cornwall’s sea-life, or the boat is available (with the crew) for private charter.
The boat was only built in 2018 and features 8 glass viewing panels (making it one of the largest glass bottom vessels in the UK!) along with advanced underwater lighting to help you enjoy your trip to the fullest.
If you are guests of ours, you can use the code CAMPNEMO5 for 5% off. Again, you can book online or give them a call on 07375 758123.

There is certainly no shortage of offers for boat trips in and around St Ives. Another that we recommend is St Ives Boats where you can hop aboard their boat, the Dolly P, to see Seal Island, partake in historic St Ives lifeboat trips or hire it privately.
For all the thrill-seekers out there, St Ives Boat Rides offers high-octane alternatives with jet skis available to hire and super fast rib rides. They also offer self-drive boats, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and a sea safari.
If you do venture out to sea, we would love to see photos and hear about the wildlife you encounter.
Happy sailing!
