We’re pleased to offer convenient on-site EV charging for both our camping and touring guests, as well as those staying in our self-catering accommodation.
Whether you’re pitching up or settling into a cottage, charging your electric vehicle is straightforward and hassle-free during your stay.
We have four dedicated EV charging spaces located behind Reception, equipped with 2 Monta chargers capable of delivering up to 22kW. A charge per kWh applies, which is currently priced at 0.50p.
To start charging, simply park up, scan the QR code and plug in to start to your charge once you’ve arrived.
To stop charging, tap ‘Stop Charging’ in the Monta app, disconnect the cable from your car first and then disconnect the cable from the charger
Please note – it is important to cancel the charge/release the cable from the car first – this will allow the charger to release your cable.
This service is provided and managed by Monta Charge. In the event of issues, chat with support live in the Monta app or at Monta.com
In an emergency, please contact reception.
Please do not charge your EV on your pitch. As stated in our T+Cs, this is a 16amp electric socket intended for light domestic use of a single electric hook up to your caravan, motorhome or tent. Use outside of this can present a safety risk and is not factored into the pitch pricing.
If you already have the Monta app, here’s how to start charging without scanning the QR code.
