How far are the properties from the main park facilities?

Self-catering properties Senara, Kerenza and Demelza are conveniently located on site, adjacent to the main park facilities including the shop, swimming pool and restaurant, Morwenna cottage is situated near the entrance to the site, less 200-250m walk to these facilities.

Can I choose a specific pitch?

Yes, you can. Have a look at our website and contact us to reserve it – although of course, it depends on that pitch’s availability. We’ll always try to make sure you get your perfect pitch, or one very like it – please help us out by booking well in advance. If you’ve stayed with us before and want the same pitch, don’t worry if you can’t remember which exact one it was. Simply contact us and we can help, as we have booking records going back several years. If you have a particular request, such as a specific pitch, but without electricity, water or drainage; or you’d like different types of pitches close to each other (you may prefer unserviced grass, while your companions want a hardstanding pitch, for example), again please get in touch, and we’ll try to find you pitches as close to each other as possible.

When can I book for 2026?

Bookings for 2025 will open at 9am on Wednesday the 3rd of July at 9am. You can book online, by phone or in person. We will answer calls as quickly as possible, but the lines do get very busy, and we recommend booking online as the quickest and clearest way to check availability and secure your pitch for peak periods.

Do the properties have private outdoor spaces or views?

Each property has its own outdoor space, ranging from a small patio area, through to a larger garden with hot tub and barbecue area. See individual property descriptions or contact us for more details.

Is there parking available for self-catering guests?

Are the kitchens fully equipped for cooking?

Yes, all kitchens are fully equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, microwave, and essential cookware. Please chat to us if you have specific requirements.

Is linen and bedding provided in the accommodations?

Yes, we provide linen, bedding and towels.

What amenities are included in the self-catering accommodation?

Each property includes a fully equipped kitchens, cosy living areas, modern bathrooms, luxurious Hypnos mattresses, smart TVs, laundry facilities, and free Wi-Fi.

Are the self-catering properties dog-friendly?

Yes, we currently accept up to 2 dogs in each of our 4 self-catering properties. An extra charge per dog applies.

How many people can your properties accommodate?

Our properties can accommodate between 2 and 6 guests, depending on the size and type of accommodation.

A puzzling adventure in St Ives

After succeeding in Escape Time St Ives’ ‘Chocolate Factory’ escape room earlier this year, Polmanter’s mini-management were excited to hear that it’s now possible to pit their wits against an outdoor challenge around beautiful St Ives.

We gathered our team of 8 and 11 yr olds, and caught the bus from the campsite to St Ives, and took the short walk up the hill to meet our Game Master, Jimmy at the Escape rooms.

We donned our dazzling yellow tabards, and Jimmy gave us a short briefing, and we were good to go!

We’d chosen the ‘Magic Portal’ and our first puzzle was right outside the door…. this was lucky, as it took us a minute to work out how to get started on the first puzzle, but we soon found our bearings, and knew that Jimmy was right there if we hadn’t sussed it out!

Our team led us around St Ives, following the story and map on an iPad, solving riddles and puzzles along the way with the help of items from our action pack. As you can see, we were blessed with a beautiful sunny day for it!

We can’t give away any further secrets, in case you fancy taking on the challenge too, but we can say that we managed to complete the 90 minute challenge, in <1 mile loop around St Ives, that brought us back to Escape Time, but only just….. with 34 seconds to spare!!
